Follow Your Favorite Webcomics With Comic Rocket

Comic RocketFor fans of comics and graphic novels, there are a lot of wonderful comics that are only available online. These webcomics might be updated daily, weekly or sporadically and all exist on their own separate website making it difficult to keep up with them on an ongoing basis. Comic Rocket streamlines this process by tracking your spot in all of the webcomics you read in a single place.

Comic Rocket allows users to create an account by logging in with Facebook or Twitter or by registering with their email. Once you have created an account, you can search for webcomics you already follow using the search bar at the top of the page or you can add a webcomic via URL at the lower right side of the page. By default, all information about the comics you follow is kept private, but you have the option to make this information public if you want to be able to share comics and recommendations with other users. Comics that have been added to your account will show up on your “My Comics” page. For each comic, this page shows information about where you are in the comic and the age-appropriateness rating of the comic (where available). It also show the avatars of any users who are publicly following the comic. All of this makes Comic Rocket great for following webcomics that you already know about, but it is also a great tool for finding new webcomics. It has a page for each webcomic which gives a brief description of it and has subject tags to make it easy to find other, similar webcomics once you have found one that you like. To read a comic, you simply click on the read button, which will take you to the comic’s website, while still keeping the Comic Rocket toolbar at the top of the page, making it easy to bookmark where you leave off each time you read more of the comic. This is a great tool if you want to keep up with a range of webcomics with ease. Adding comics and then reading them each time you login is extremely quick and easy, and is made even easier by the fact that Comic Rocket keeps track of when the webcomic was last updated. If you find yourself going back and forth between a large number of websites to keep up with your favorite webcomics, I would highly recommend giving Comic Rocket a try.
